With my 1st iMac coming I'm gonna need to replace some old hardware like my Epson Photo RX620 scanner/printer that has been used 99% for scanning are there are no drivers on epson site for Mojave.
I know I can get a less expensive flatbed but I have been a hobby photographer and have a lot of older film & slides I would like to digitize at my golden years. lol
Doesn't seem to be much difference in either specs or price I could see.
Also have never been a big fan of all in one units.

Question: is anyone using a epson perfection V550 or V600 scanner or have experience with similar unit?

Just because there is not an updated driver, that does not mean the printer/scanner will not work. It won't hurt to try it with your new Mac.

The Epson site says that the RX620 doesn't need special drivers from them but rather from Apple itself. So the OS has support for it and this works both with 10.13 High Sierra and 10.14 Mojave. So you don't need to upgrade your scanner on account of Mojave yet.

Thanks Bob & Ashwin. that would be great because I need some other things like external storage. Guess I'm getting ancie waiting for system to arrive and trying to have some things in place.
