I've got a new Mac Mini (got it back in January). I have had a wireless keyboard for my iPad, so I am not using it with the Mini. I bought the Magic Mouse when I got the Mini. Batteries are all good. The Mini loses connection with the mouse (usually) and the keyboard (sometimes) for a second or maybe up to 5 seconds, then finds it again. I'm only about 5 feet from the Mini. I don't think it's a range issue, since both the keyboard and mouse work from across the room, too. Anybody else having this sort of problem? Anything I can do to stay connected?

I guess I should take the mini and the mouse in to the Apple store, huh?

By chance do you have anything on your desk that may cause interference and the mouse and keyboard to lose connection? Hands free telephones in particular can cause this problem.

Only thing on the table is my wireless keyboard... and I hope it plays nice with the mouse. Both are Apple products. Now, the Mini is on top of my a/v cabinet, so there may be interference there... but the only thing that is "on" most of the time is the TV and the cable box. The Mini plays through the TV, which is about a foot above it, and the cable box is about 2 feet below it.

I might try relocating the Mini to the office and see if it happens there, too.
