Hello all. A few members mentioned not receiving the Mac-Forums newsletter...and we have been investigating how to get those members signed up.

We are pleased to announce that a Mac-Forums Newsletter sign-up link has been added to the bottom/footer of any Mac-Forums page:

- Click on the "Mac-Forums Newsletter Sign-Up" link.
- A window will open.
- Fill in all appropriate info.
- Click the "Subscribe Now" button.

...and you're good to go.

If you accidentally unsubscribed from the newsletter...this is also a great way to get re-subscribed.:)

Thanks,

Your Mac-Forums Staff

Thanks, Nick

For those using the Brave browser - the sign up link does not work, probably because it's a pop-up or considered an ad.
So one needs to log in with a different browser that doesn't block the pop-up and sign up that way.

@krs

I don't think it's a pop-up.

Look to the very bottom of any page - this one for example. You'll see this:

@Ian:

I think "krs" is referring to the dialog that pops up when you click on the Mac-Forums Newsletter Sign Up listed under Consumer Tech. It shows up for me and I have several pop up blockers loaded both in Safari and Chrome.

Ah. Sorry. Thank you.

Also worked fine for me, although I was getting these newsletters, I signed up again ;D

I have AdGuard on.

No popup on Brave (with nothing extra) and Chrome (with uBlock Origin/Ghostery). Had to go to Safari (with no extensions at all) to get the pop-up to show up.

When I click on the link that Nick pointed to, Mac-Forums Newsletter Sign-up, it just takes me back to this thread if I'm on Brave
If I'm on FireFox I get the pop-up where I can add my email and register for the newsletter, but Brave blocks that registration window.
Looked like a 'pop-up' to me - maybe Brave thinks it's an ad an therefore blocks it. I mentioned that possibility in my post as well.
I was just providing a 'heads up' for people who use Brave.

Thanks for mentioning this Ian.:)

Please let us know if anything unusual happens on your end (such as receiving two copies of the same newsletter issue). Lol

Thanks,

- Nick

p.s. If you do get 2 copies...too bad...you "poked the bear"!;)
