    Ditto. Same problem here.

Certainly not a super vital problem I wouldn't think, and not much difference to their erroneous posting timestamp for some users.
I meant to tell you that I found an error with your Date Time Settings in the master data base the other day while I was checking your settings. The "Automatically Detect Daylight Savings" option was not selected for your account. That would likely put your time off by one hour either way depending on whether we were on DST or not. I corrected it for you. Let me know if you get any more time errors.

Thank you Charlie, and I suspected that might have been the case.

I'll test here with my reply @ 5:46 PM PST.

Well, not what I was expecting as it says it was posted @ Today, 06:46 PM as I see it, but I guess that's correct as the mac-forums page at the bottom says:
All times are GMT -7. The time now is [the current time at -7 GMT of course]

Your post shows posted at 07:46 PM CST GMT -6. Which would be correct for my time zone.

So I guess there's still some other setting somewhere as it seems as if the server thinks I am on daylight saving time (one hour ahead) or the change you made hasn't sunk in to the system:
I meant to tell you that I found an error with your Date Time Settings in the master data base the other day while I was checking your settings. The "Automatically Detect Daylight Savings" option was not selected for your account.
Anyway, not a really big deal but I get tired of things not working the way they should. Maybe just sloppy programming or some "feature" change.

BTW: The posted incorrect time stamp shows up the same as my iMac's Maverick Safari and/or Firefox when using El Capt'n with my MB Pro.

This post time: 8:28 PM PST
vBulletin time says: All times are GMT -7. The time now is 09:28 PM.

Something is not right at your end. vBulletin should report "All times are GMT-8" not -7. The data base clearly shows your time zone as PST, GMT-8. Are you sure that your Mac is setup to automatically detect DST?

Yeah, I know something is goofy, especially after you checked and changed my member settings, the trouble is I don't know what!!

I have double-checked my date and time pref pane settings on both my Macs, even tried turning DT off and back on again, changed TimeZone to a different zone and back to the correct one, and even shutdown and rebooted. Still no change.

vBulletin is still insisting on showing:
All times are GMT -7. The time now is 11:01 AM.

My real time here is 10.01 AM PST
    It is correct.

Go figure what's causing the problem, and with both Macs, Weird.

    EDIT:
I just checked amy ehMac.ca forums site and it is correct and at the bottom says:
All times are GMT -8. The time now is 10:06 AM.

So it's working OK with that vBulletin forum page, so you can have the problem back I guess.

Check it now to see if it's working. I made another change to your setting.

    Hell YES!!! You did it!!

I was just posting on another thread and something looked strange — the timestamp on the post was actually correct!! Came here to check and it looks like you fixed things

vBulletin is now showing at the bottom:
All times are GMT -8. The time now is 10:52 AM.

So thanks for the fix Charlie.

EDIT: the correct timestamp here may not be supercritical, but it sure could be for an astronaut trying to make their rendezvous appointment in space!!!!

And it's nice to have things correct and working properly. I tend to be a bit fussy that way.

Believe or not, the last time I edited your settings I selected the option to automatically detect DST. The problem is that I forgot to check to see if your current setting was set on DST. It was. LOL

Anyway, no more time traveling for Patrick.

Good detective work Charlie, and my gratitude for your fix, but I would have thought the "automatically detect DST" would have have made the change on it's own automatically unless there is a setting to actually set the members time other than just a time zone.

But at least I am no longer stuck in some other time warp.

As for the breach, is my DOB available in all my previous accounts? Could it please be removed or all those accounts deleted?

    Thanks

Those accounts no longer exist and your current account is clear of your DOB.
