    Mac-Forums Staff Position Changes
It is our pleasure to announce that pigoo3 (Nick) has been elevated to the position of Administrator. Nick has been a member here in Mac-Forums of long standing and as you know has been a Moderator for many years. His vast experience with Mac hardware and deep knowledge of how things work have been an invaluable asset to our forum membership. We are pleased that he will now continue to be with us as Administrator.

At the same time our current Administrator Vansmith has decided to step down from his staff position as Administrator due to other commitments that he has. However, he will remain with us as Moderator and will try to be available whenever his busy schedule allows it.

Our thanks to the membership for the great support everyone has given the staff!

    chscag (Charlie)

Welcome Nick. Congrats on the change to Administrator. A well-deserved honor.

Now I have someone beside Charlie to bother when the software thwarts my attempts to take over . . . err help maintain the forums.

Hang on to those original install discs like grim death! Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer!

In that case I'll be getting a refund on that voodoo doll. Darned thing cost me plenty with nothing to show for it.

Hmmm…??? Are you a Moderator or Administrator and I was going to ask if there's much if any difference here, and don't worry about the lack of any fancy banners as us Canadians are normally renown as just simple plain folks doncha know eh??

Congratulations Nick, but I had always thought that you were actually one of the original members as you always seemed to have been here posting and replying away and helping others so nicely…

So he can indeed get double the pay without it costing a penny/cent extra. That's what I call a win-win situation
