Hey, I have a MBP 2.4 15" and a M-audio Fast Track Pro. I have installed the driver and then restarted and plugged it in. (Just as I did in Windows). So basically now I plug my bass on the 1st input and in garageband after changing the drivers to m-audio fasttrack as well as in the system preferences>sound, I get the sound but with ALOT of breaks and delay, it's completely unbearable... in Logic Express I can't even set up the instrument to play... I thought it was as easy as in cubase... Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance

what you are refeering to is called latency. there should be an option to fix it in the preferences. notch everything up to best performance in preferences.

also, you might try micing an amp instead of going direct in. wish i could offer more help, but dont use garageband a ton.
