Hi
I've just bought a MacBook and I love it! I've been using garage band alot and I've been told that I can plug my guitar straight into the MacBook (using a guitar lead and a Jack to Mini Jack adaptor).
I followed the help files and went to 'System Preferences >> Sound' and set the import to 'Line In'. The imput level monitor showed that the Mac was picking up my guitar. Great. Then I opened up Garage Band, added a new real instument track and turned Monitor on. But when I started to play, the sound was picked up from the built in mic.
How can I record sound directly from my guitar into Garage Band???
Thanks alot!
