Decided to add Music to my MacBook.Running the latest Catalina
The music in in the windows format and some in mp3format.Went to have a look at the new iTunes renamed Music.
How can I import some of the track form the external drive into to play on my MacBook?.
Any help Please.

iTunes and Music will both support the MP3 format without needing to convert to anything else. However, your other "windows format" files might be WMA which Apple doesn't support, like the Apple's AAC and M4A are formats that Windows doesn't support. Anyhoo, if you do have a WMA files, you'll first want to find a converter to get those into MP3 and from there, the import into Music should be fine.
