I am having a weird issue with itunes. I have an audio book published by Harper Audio, but the title and track names, etc, do not show up when the cd is being viewed in itunes. I named it so it would catalog in my library properly. When I load it I end up with like 10 copies of it in my library, each one taking up space. If I try to delete one copy, they all go. At 9 cd's this will be a lot of copies. I have checked "consolidate all files". Stumped. If I import any cd's whose info does show up in itunes, they import fine.

It seems to have fixed it by selecting Genre: Books and Audio, entering cd count 1 of 8, etc, and then giving each cd the same title rather than "Book Tile 1", "Book Title 2", etc.

It's odd to me that "Remember Play Position" and "Skip When Shuffling" only appear when the media kind is music, but disappear when the media kind is audiobook. Maybe these features are automatically used for audiobooks?

Have you tried adding the audiobook to iBooks?

iBooks isn't something I choose, is it? I thought this was a default in iphone, but not in a laptop. Nevertheless I have my issue worked out. Thanks!

I'm using a Macbook Pro, and I use iBooks on my iPhone 6s, but all my books automatically store in the audiobook section of iTunes. I have 10.13.4 on my Macbook, with iTunes version 12.8.
