I would like to save tracks from Apple Music for offline playback etc. Can somebody help me how to do that? Do I need special software for that? Any experiences? Thanks for your help!

I'm new here and was wandering through the threads for my first post. But this one completely threw me off. Why do you need software to save songs from Apple Music when possibility to download them for online listening is like its key feature

Coz they are selling their software. Like the old Latin proverb 'A Buck is a Buck is a Buck'!
Hang on to those original install discs like grim death! Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer!

I can only recommend Audials Tunebite Premium! I find it super easy to use and it works pretty well!

If you want to add a playlist to your local library for offline listening, there are a few steps to do. Just launch the Music app on your iPhone or iPad and go to the playlist that you want to download. After that, tap the More button to the right corner of the music then, click on Make Available Offline. With this easy steps, you are now able to play your favorite playlist.
