Hi. I got a new macbook two days ago. In my excited stupor to get everything going, I failed to see that garage band was ready to rock and went and installed an older version of iLife (2008). Now that I've gone and done that, garage band is gone.

Any thoughts for this dummy?

Thanks

If it were me. And my computer was only 2 days old, and I hadn't done any significant work on it, or saved anything significant on it, I'd just do a restore from the Mac disks. This way you're starting fresh again. I know there's probably a way to reverse what you did, but when a computer is that much of a virgin it just gives me more piece of mind to start over from the top.

Maybe that's my paranoia from my PC days (I've reinstalled WinXP more times than I can count), but a computer is a computer in my eyes.
