• The Mac-Forums Community Guidelines (linked at the top of every forum) are very clear, we respect US law and court precedence when it comes to legality of activity.

    Therefore to clarify:
    • You may not discuss breaking DVD or BluRay encryption, copying, or "ripping" commercial, copy-protected DVDs.
    • This includes DVDs or BluRays you own. Even if you own the DVD or BluRay, it is still technically illegal under the DMCA to break the encryption. While some may argue otherwise, until the law is rewritten or the US Supreme Court strikes it down, we will adhere to the current intent of the law.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying unprotected movies or homemade DVDs.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying tools in the context that they are used for legal purposes as outlined in this post.

I don't want to depress you, but the latest version of Roxio Toast Titanium is 17.2!!

But I have to say that, in my opinion, some of the previous versions were better. The current version is top heavy with masses of options and sub-options. Having said that, it's still a decent piece of kit. And it can be found here: https://www.roxio.com/en/products/toast/titanium/

Certainly no depression here Ian, especially considering your comment — in my opinion, some of the previous versions were better. I'll just maybe use my older version thanks.

Much too often it seems to be the case with all the "New & Improved" versions that seem to get produced, often with detrimental effects.

Toast 11 was much better for my uses. Somewhere from 11 to 16 that I bought and demanded a refund on, they messed up Video Conversion of MP4 files. All the ones I tried to convert and burn in 16 had video errors where it looked like people were walking backwards! :D Grin

I talked to support till I was blue in the face trying everything they suggested and nothing fixed it. So I got my $$$ back and continue to run 11.

A new "feature" in the newer version perhaps!!! :Smirk:

Or mimicking the backward "moonwalk" that was so popular some years back maybe???
