    Therefore to clarify:
    • You may not discuss breaking DVD or BluRay encryption, copying, or "ripping" commercial, copy-protected DVDs.
    • This includes DVDs or BluRays you own. Even if you own the DVD or BluRay, it is still technically illegal under the DMCA to break the encryption. While some may argue otherwise, until the law is rewritten or the US Supreme Court strikes it down, we will adhere to the current intent of the law.

Hello. I filmed a band last night, and because the XL2 is mini dv, i took my macbook with me to record in real time so i didn't have to play it all back again at a later date to get in on the macbook.

The first half of the gig went fine. then i ran out of memory on my macbook(i freed up 30gb of space, thinking it would just be enough). so the camera carried on recording

today i tried to import the rest in iMovie and the camera stops importing after a minute!

It didn't used to do this, but the last two times it has happened.

Does anyone know why and a way around the really annoying problem?

Thank you very much for your time

Will
