what pc are you trying to burn on? what software? is it a special drive? need more information.
My computer is an iMac 2.7 with 12gb of memory. Burning with Toast 10. Burner is a brand new Blu ray external from Other World Computing. It's a Pioneer. I am using Memorex 25gb 4x disc. It takes all day for the encoding and then I get the message that there is not enough room. I have tried this several time. Thanks for your help

Actually, what's PROBABLY happening is that your boot drive is running out of temporary storage space while its doing the encoding. For a project like that I'd expect you'd need *at least* 50GB free, probably a huge amount more.
