I've used Airdrop quite often to move photos from my iPhone to my MacBook Pro, but since I took the OS upgrade to 10.15.3 a few days ago, the laptop says Bluetooth is disabled (and I can't turn it back on) and my phone won't recognize the laptop anymore. I've set both to (recognize all) but to no avail. What else am I doing wrong?

MBP 16" 2023 (M3 Pro), iPhone 15 Pro, plus ATVs, AWatch, MacMinis (multiple)
and I can't turn it back on
What does that mean, exactly? What happens when you go to System Preferences, Bluetooth and turn it on? Any messages?

What does this mean:
I've set both to (recognize all) but to no avail.
given that you say it won't turn on. How are you setting it to "recognize" if it's not on?

Have you tried rebooting?

What MBP do you have (click on the , then About This Mac).

You could use Photostream to automatically sync instead.

Since your Bluetooth serves as a communication port, that needs to be working.
In some cases, turning off then on your Bluetooth should do the trick, if you have not already
in other cases I had to remove a 3rd party file in the library to get the bluetooth working again.

Jeeze, why didn't I think of rebooting? That's my answer to almost everything in life! Rebooted and now I can turn Bluetooth on, which would not response before. Thanks all for your suggestions. I just Airdropped two pix to my laptop without issue.

Yes, MBA, rebooting did the trick.

Well, Jake back in post#2 suggested a reboot, which often clears up many issues - good that the BT problem was resolved easily! Dave :)
