Thinking of upgrading to Catalina, My computer shows 10 applications as 32 bit & Catalina shows it only accepts 64 bit, It looks as though 8 belong to my canon camera but i'm not sure about N'os 3 & 4, Can anyone tell me if it would do any harm upgrading with 3 & 4 not being 64 bit. ANY ADVICE WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

3, 4 are Apple owned software which will be upgraded or replaced with compatible 64-bit software in Catalina. So it's just the Canon software you have to contend with. Check to see if there are updates.

Also, even if the Canon’s software is not upgradeable, that won’t stop you from downloading your pictures from your camera to your Mac. You just won’t be able to use their editing software.

There are plenty of other options, the obvious one being Apple’s native Photos app.

That's great advice guy's, I was going to try Photos as you mentioned & am pleased to know 3 & 4 won't be a problem.
Much appreciated,
John S.
P.S. I forgot to mention that I contacted Canon and they said they can't change to 64 bit ( asked me if I would like to purchase a new camera ) so I am going to bypass the software and use Photo's.
Thank's again for your advice.
John S.
