I've had a printer attached to my mini for some time and all has been good.

Today when I went to print I got printer unavailable

Went into printers and scanners and saw that I have eight entries for the printer?

Not seen this before - Can anyone suggest why this is and can I delete seven of the entries?

If your printer isn't actually working I would delete everything and start from scratch with new drivers.

Maybe if you upgraded the OS, each version created a new "copy" to use.

Also, I agree with pine_man, best to delete them all and start fresh. Go to the manufacturers web site, and get the newest driver and utilities folder available for your model printer.

Thanks, one of the entries does work so I'll start by deleting the others and see what happens.

Thanks again

It sounds like your print spooler was put into Pause mode at some point, and if there is no option to Resume, then just select all print jobs and delete them. Also make sure your printer hasn't been Paused somehow and carry on.
