Not sure if this is the correct forum - please move if not.
Have successfully upgraded to MacOS Catalina with no problems to speak of (fingers crossed)
Now that iTunes has been split into three separate apps I would like to move the iTunes media file location to an ext 4TB external hdd to free up space on my iMac's internal drive. Because of Catalina would I have to format the ext hdd to APFS
The location for the music app and the tv app's iTunes Media file have the same path so I presume that after consolidating both libraries I can just point the apps to the new location on the ext hdd. Am I correct?
Any advice much appreciated
