Although I posted this in the forum entitled "Catalina Bugs", I fear some (or maybe all) will not see and/or read it. So, I am making this thread to help affected folks.
Issues with Mail in Catalina
Just saw this:
Beware Mail Data Loss in Catalina - TidBITS
I have not upgraded yet, and I use Thunderbird. But this is troublesome for Mail users.
Note the last paragraph in that link:
"To reiterate our advice in “macOS 10.15 Catalina Ships, Upgrade with Caution” (7 October 2019), hold off on upgrading to Catalina for a while, particularly if you use Mail.
Sane advice, no matter what software one uses!
PS: Sorry about the typo "SeriousIssue". I wanted to post it right away, and did not bother to correct it. It (of course) should be "Serious Issue With Mail in Catalina".
