Apple today released the Golden Master of Catalina to developers and also released Public Beta 10.

We should be seeing the final release of Catalina soon.

Make sure you have a good copy of Mojave tucked away somewhere. And don't forget to make backups before installing any new version of macOS.

Keep in mind that Catalina will not run 32 bit apps and is different from versions of macOS that you may be used to.

Downloaded Public Beta 10 a few hours ago. Haven't put it through serious work yet but so far things are fine in routine work.

So did I. I especially wanted to make sure that my printers are working okay with Catalina. However, I need to hold off installing Catalina until I get one of my 32 bit programs updated to 64 bit. The developer has been promising an update before Catalina is released. Still no update as we approach the release.
