Powermac 6.1 upgradable

A Powemac6.1 Power PC 3.3
Running OSX 10.5.8
Trying to repartition the drive. I am getting an unable without HFS+ extended journaling.
Is there a workaround or do I have to purchase cloning software?
Can this ol beast be upgrade to take Mavericks?

Not sure I understand what you mean by "without HFS+ extended journaling"?

Also, there is no way that machine can run anything higher than macOS 10.5.8. So, no it can't be upgraded to run Mavericks.

I cannot add a partition without HFS+ file moving software with extended journaling.
I am attempting to get it as current as possible for some impoverished kids.

Okay. Not sure if "iPartition" is still available as the developer has quit but has released both "iPartition" and "iDefrag" to the public for free. It was available around 4 or 5 months ago. You might do a search to see if you can still find a copy.
