Apparently I ok'd a d/l of Flash. I have since changed my mind and didn't complete the install. Now I get popups wanting to complete the install. Where can I find the offender and delete it to prevent the constant and irritating popups?

Go intro System Preferences and see if the icon is on the bottom row. If so right click and take the 'remove' option.

I'm sorry for such a long delay. It's not in System Preferences. It will pop up in the middle of a screen I'm working on. The back button takes care of it..but it comes back. Any more suggestions?..

Ah, are we talking about it showing up just in your browser? If so, it's just a spam ad, usually from a scammer who wants you to click on it to complete and then install scam ware or worse. An ad blocker should take care of it.

And if you originally clicked on one of those to do the install, I'd strongly recommend running DetectX Swift (search for it) on your system to make sure you have not already gotten the malware installed.

If you do ever want to update your Flash Player, you should only do it through the System Preferences > Flash Player option.

I've run Malware Bytes...it's clean...or so it says. I'll check on DetectX Swift...thanks.
