My wife got a message telling her that her iCloud was full and she found that a number of e-mails sent to her hadn't arrived. I discovered that there were loads of e-mails going back 5 years that had neither been deleted nor filed 'On My Mac'. I have set up files for all the years and filed them up to the end of November. I tried sending her an e-mail but it hasn't reached her on any of her devices. I have logged into her iCloud account and found that most of the e-mails that I filed, although not all of them, had gone from her Inbox and Sent box. Is it possible that it takes some time before the block is removed so that she can again receive e-mails other iCloud e-mail address?

iCloud storage, and Mail, are two different things?

SOLVED
As you say and I subsequently discovered that her iPhone had somehow been backed up to iCloud. I’ve backed it up to her iMac and deleted the iCloud backup.

Still doesn’t explain why e-mails to her iCloud address failed to reach her.
