I have been getting warnings since upgrading to Mojave about future incompatability with some installed software that I have on my computer. I understand the suggestion from Apple to contact the vendor for newer versions of the software.

I fully understand what needs to be done for 3rd party 32 bit software I have purchased and installed. Printer software being one of them. But, I do get confused when such warning comes up for software I have to believe originally came with the computer. As example - USBServer. Where would one go for that update? If such software came with the operating system shouldn't Apple be the one to affect that? Just asking for I have no idea. I do on my 3rd party software.

While on the subject of software, my wireless keyboard and mouse connection has recently become erratic. Notices come up stating no connection, back to ok then no, then all is well. Mouse has frozen as well at times and reboot was needed to solve these problems, in particular the mouse movement freeze. I have run disk utility to check for problems. All is reported as ok.

My Desktop is a 2017 27" model

By software that originally came with the system I assume that you mean Apple siftware? Apple has been moving it's operating system components and other programs to 64 bit support for some time now so their apps and core OS should be good.

As far as USBServer is concerned that may not be a piece of Apple software. Are you by chance using a Brother printer over a USB connection? This thread suggests that it is part of the software for a Brother printer. I don't think I have this software on my system with a Brother printer but my printer is not connected by USB.

Currently Mojave is up to OS X.14.2, Have you upgraded?

For what bit is worth, my choice is to do a clean install of each new operating system rather than upgrade after upgrade. Seems much less problems.

Thank you. I"ll check it out. I guess the point I was trying to make was - how does anyone that doesn't know something about computers other than to turn it on ever figure these things out. I'm not a guru by far but, am familiar with many things the average user wouldn't be. Thanks again.

I can confirm that USBServer is a third party app and NOT part of Apple's OS.

These two articles explain how to download USBServer and its various functions.

USB Server ? USB Device Server

Yes, I do have a brother printer and I am using it wirelessly. I thought I checked Brother out for this but, in the event I didn't, I will do so. Thank you.
