Downloaded app for subject game from store. Initially got blank screen with running colored circle. Let this run for one hour then decided to reboot. Once system came back I went to finder and saw the icon in the apps folder. Clicked on icon and nothing happened so I went to downloads and it wasn't there. Any ideas? I have Mohave 10.14.1.

I just downloaded it and it ran fine on my MBP with 10.14.2. The app went directly into the Applications folder, not to Downloads. I'd say delete it from Applications and download it again. You didn't mention which Mac, but mine is a MBPr 15" mid-2015.

Apps downloaded from the Mac App Store go directly into the Applications folder and NOT into your Downloads folder, so you shouldn't find it there. The game requires macOS 10.10 as a minimum, so your Mojave installation should be compatible. Did the game start at all or get you a blank screen immediately?
