Boot into the Recovery Partition of the hard drve (by booting the computer & holding the 2-key combo of command + r)...then launch Disk Utility & make the HD one partition.

Welcome to Mac-Forums.

Don't do this in Disk Utility, use the Boot Camp Assistant instead. Choose the 'Create or restore' option and choose to Restore which will remove the Windows partition and create a single macOS partition again.

I cannot do that when I open bootcamp it says you must remove the partition before proceeding I don't know how to remove the partition or make it one hard drive again because I have deleted some items and have mucked it up

Your error was trying to remove other than using the BootCamp Assistant.

It may be that you are up for a format of the drive and an install of the operating system. Trust you have an up top date backup of all your files. If not make one before proceeding with any suggestion/s.
