I use Chrome and videos play fine. What browser are you using?

Might be a problem with Yahoo. I'm getting the same thing, a black screen with no video.

Does Yahoo use Flash? Silverlight? Do one or the other need to be installed?

Hey Ron:

I just tried again with Chrome and the videos play okay. Chrome has flash built in so that may be why. However, the videos are black when played with Safari.

Are you using an ad or content blocker, those sometimes affect embedded videos as well?

I pause blockers for this and still getting black screen

What browser are you using? [/url]

Video appears to be playing using just html, not Flash.

Could you link to a specific video you are unable to play?

Using Safari Browser reading Yahoo News and some Video there, when I click to read and theres video suppose to play but not. I jump to Opera Browser and works fine. My Flash is updated and still not working. usagora, the link u gave me " Moose uses doorbell to awaken a couple in Alaska ", This video is all blacked

After you pause the ad/content blockers, you reload the page, correct?

That video is not using Flash as far as I can tell (if you inspect it, it's a <video> html element). The video I linked also plays fine on Safari for me.
