I have a late 2014 iMac currently running High Sierra 10.13.6 . Should I change to Mojave ? What are the advantages / disadvantages ?

Welcome to our forums.

Installing Mojave will change the format on your internal drive to APFS if it is not already set that way. Mojave includes some nice stuff like "Dark Mode" and progressive background pictures. You can read up on what's included with Mojave by going to the Mac App Store and clicking on Mojave. That will display a list of all the new things included with it. You can then decide for yourself.

Hi and welcome to our Forums.

I don't know where you live, but this is the UK site for Apple where it goes through everything for Mojave including videos: https://www.apple.com/uk/macos/mojave/

If you live elsewhere just put the following into Google: "Apple what's new Mojave". From the list of possibilities, choose the one from Official Apple Support.
