A warm welcome to Mac-Forums.

I am assuming that you are asking us how to remove this irritant from your Mac?

I am Linking you to two sites that walk you through the process; but as far as I can see Malwarebytes app would probably do the trick. Download from here: https://www.malwarebytes.com/free-multi-os-download/. Use the Trial version for 30 days (free) then let it revert to the free version automatically. Great app. Widely recommended on these Forums.

last day of summer here in indiana!

You guys in Indiana using a different calendar? Summer officially ended a little over a couple weeks ago (September 22nd).;)

Maybe it's still very warm...and still feels like Summer.:)

That's the problem with suspicious apps/programmes. Mawarebytes app would/possibly have (if you downloaded it as suggested) - identified all these sources and can delete them.

Tough job as you say.

Looks like you are on top of things now, however.
