Safari not responding or error messages

Hello Mac Forums!

I am new to the forum and hope I have posted my question to the proper place. I recently updated my Safari and after doing that, I have had a number of issues. When using the password auto-fill function and clicking whatever button to enter the website it either does not move or I get the following error; "Safari Can't Open the Page" and it goes onto say that the error is: Webkit encountered an internal error (WebkitErrorDomain300).

I am running internet off a wireless router, using an early 2011 MacBook Pro (High Sierra 10.13.6).

Any help or advice would be appreciated.
