Spoke to MS and they'#ve said if you don't have the license then you're on your own. Expected!

I guess it didn't help if you told them you do have a license but you just can't find it and you can't remember what it was.

Yeah, I know, most of them don't have much sense of humor and don't seem to be able to help very much.

Maybe there's something else more useful like doing a web search on "Microsoft Office 2011 registration serial number".

All that is likely to do is bring up schemes on how to cheat and get a fake registration product id. And there are plenty of ways out there to cheat for MS Office and Windows. Which is why we do not recommend even discussing it.

Besides, the license belongs to his employer, so let them figure out what to do.

So surley someone must have kept a record when they received the install disks. Well, one would have hoped and thought so.
