Have you double checked that those big hats the Admins sent you don't have a headband that's shrinking lately or just too tight…??? ;D

Just a thought…

Can't be the big hats. They haven't arrived yet. Apparently they were shipped by the slowest possible method.:D

Thanks, I’ll check all that out. (I tried a ballpoint pen on the keyboard but only a fingertip worked. Maybe a special stylus would).

Personally I wouldn't use a ballpoint pen or other hard or sharp object. I've always been afraid it would damage the toouch sensitive somewhat soft touch screen. A typical pencil eraser should be stiff enough to work but not hard enough to damage anything. I like Patrick's idea of a stylus even better if you have one around.

While I have your attention (!) a couple of supplementary points, which I haven't pursued before as they're not the end of the world...

I have two scanners, an Epson V550 Perfection (good quality machine, handy for negatives if you need to do them), and the all-round Canon, adequate for most things.

Using Photoshop Elements 11, I can see the Epson, and scan through it. But it only shows 'Canon 5200' which is a printer I used to use - no MG7750 in any shape or form. Trying to import the Canon 5200 ends in communications failure reports.

Using Photoshop Elements 13, I can't see the Epson, and again the only Canon it sees is the 5200.

No great sweat, and if it matters, I scan through the Epson using Photoshop 11, and if doesn't, I use the Canon using the 'Canon MG7700 series' app.

Is there some sort of obvious fix to this, or should I just push on with my workrounds?

Besides it cost, that's another reason I don't use the application or even any Adobe paid-for apps any more for that matter.

I'd suggest Googling your question and maybe even check some Adobe help forums which I assume they have.

It seems a bit odd that an earlier version sortof works yet the later version does nothing it seems.

Try this to start with and it looks like some good hit possibilities:

Good luck.
