Untitled CD Icon

My Mac thinks I have an untitled CD in my computer. The icon appeared on my desktop when i put in a USB key. I can still use the CD drive for anything and the icon will not go away. I have restarted the computer and the icon will not go away. Can you help me with this at all? Thanks in advance...

Sometimes DVD's will present two CD icons when you put it in. One is the DVD, the other is an audio portion on the DVD. I have ejected the DVD icon and found myself stuck with the audio CD icon. I could not get rid of it till I put the DVD back in and ejected the audio disk frst, then the DVD second. However, if you open Itunes and the CD is shown in there, you may be able to eject it. If not, open disk utility and see if it is found in there- if it is, try ejecting it.
Have you tried just trashing it? Then do a force trash?
