Trying to install Lion over Snow leopard

Sly, space is a character, as far as passwords are considered. So if nothing was entered at account creation, the password is <null> not space.

You're right as usual Jake. Which one needs to be entered will depend entirely upon what was done when the account was crews. I did that once just to see if it would work. I accidentally hit space during account setup when I didn't mean to do so. Took me a while to figure out what happened.

I agree with chscag. Lion over SL isn't worth it. Stay with SL. I was going to install Lion and found to many issues. I could not go to Mountain Lion so what Lion added vs the problems I read about wasn't worth it.
Have you thought about creating bootable USB installer for Lion?

I agree with chscag. Lion over SL isn't worth it. Stay with SL


+3 !!! Lion was a gad awful, goofy OS, with no real advantage at all as far as I recall.
