My MacBook Pro 13 inch early 2015 can't connect to second monitor.

My MacBook Pro 13 inch early 2015 can't connect to second monitor. I got a extra monitor ( ASUS VW190 ) which is only support vga, I bought a official mini display port to vga so I can connect it to my MacBook pro. After I set up everything and connected it together to my MacBook pro, my asus monitor shown as vga non signal but my MacBook pro already detected the monitor.


It is the problem of my MacBook pro or the asus monitor? I have updated my MacBook pro to the latest version and reset NVRAM but still not work

Try and SMC reset, https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201295. Do it, let the MBP start up, then restart and do it a second time.
