just lately some links that appear in my emails will not connect I have to right click on them and open in a new tab, also my login details for my virgin media mail has stopped working, virgin have a help page were you can chat with them to solve problems but when I click on the chat icon I get a message one of our operators is free to chat click on chat when I do this this chat link does not open, also when on amazon were there are multiple pages for items once I have clicked on a page say page 2 I cannot go back to my previous page by clicking the return arrow it just comes up with a clear screen with amazon at the top.
Sorry for the long winded explanation but I am just confused as to what might be causing all these problems.Any help would be most grateful.
Regards Ray

Which browser are you using? This is an issue I've seen people have with Firefox. Sometimes opening the e-mails in Safari will make the links work again. I'd try this first. If you're using a different browser, make sure you're using the latest version. It would also help if you specified which OS you were running.

benrymnd, can I first ask politely for you to use some punctuation to help me understand your posts? When words run on like in the first post my brain seizes up. Thanks!

Now, do you have any adblock/malware blockers installed? Ghostery, for example, blocks chats and back arrows sometimes because they appear as popup windows.

This seems to be an issue a lot of people have experienced in Safari as well now that I've done a little digging. Some people seemed to have better luck with getting the links to work in Chrome. You can also try to disable Javascript, that seems to be a workaround that has worked for a few people.

Something else you can try is to launch Mail Preferences and select the account in the Accounts tab. From here, go to Advanced. At the top of the list, you should see a "Automatically detect and maintain account settings" tick box. If it isn't checked, check it and re-launch mail. If it IS checked, uncheck it, quit and relaunch mail. Then check it, quit again, and relaunch again.

Hopefully one of these potential fixes helps you out.
