Toggling "icon preview" option in View Options doesn't make any change, so I've ruled that out.

After using Migration Assistant to transfer to a new computer, my Final Cut Pro icons are showing up as just plain white page icons instead of the FCP icon. I've tried going to a working FCP icon, copying and pasting into the "bad" icon, but when I do that the pasted icon still shows up as a white sheet.

Any ideas why or how to fix it?

Closer than you think.
Your Mac's Specs
Performa 6116 2GBSCSI 8MB OS 7.5.3
Have you reinstalled FCP on the new Mac?

The long way to fix this is to get info on a working icon, select the icon image in the get info window and use CMD+C or copy, then get info window on the non working icon and select the non working icon in the get info window and use CMD+V or paste.

I haven't reinstalled FCP. I let the migration transfer all my files over so didn't need to reinstall.

When I look at other icons for FCP, they show up fine. But all of them show this blank document when I Get Info and look at the icon there. So the long fix you mentioned won't work, unfortunately.
