Hey guys, so the deal is, when I got my macbook from my ex-gf, the logic board was ALREADY kind of messed up. So, naturally, I had it sent to MacService, and I had everything fixed, and six months later (Now) the USB drive started acting up again, starting with the message : "The USB device is drawing too much power...". The problem is, there was nothing inside of the USB port at the time I got this notification, so it's telling me that I can't use it, so well, I can't anymore.
I had my macbook sent back to macservice under warranty, so we're all good, my question is:
Would using an aftermarket Laptop Charger have affected the logic board's operations at all? I'm just trying to avoid having it sent back there the third time, and this is the only thing I do with the Logic Board that's different. I have a Macbook pro 13" and use an L tip 60W charger, i bought off ebay: L Tip 60W AC Power Adapter Charger for Apple MacBook Pro 13" 13 3 A1184 A1330 | eBay
Can I have any input on this? or is it just my bad luck?
EDIT:
Does the model of the charger affect anything? or is it entirely a different problem? This problem occured when I was laying down and I was using my computer, and it was also on it's side (usb face down) should I not do that?
