…in the new URL/Search window. I use other search engines and used to have them drop down from the old discrete search field before Safari 6 came out. DuckDuckGo, Ix, etc.

How can I assign some more search engines to my default browser preferences?

Thank you.

**Solved**

Just use the Glims extension.

Then load in your preferred search engines.

How are you using Glims with Safari 6.0? Once installed, Safari 6 removes the Glims extension.

Nothing special.

I noticed that my Glims had vanished.

So I reinstalled it and loaded in my preferred search engines.
