I am a little paranoid that my Mac didn't properly install Mountain Lion because when I was installing it(step 1, the step that only takes 3 minutes) I had multiple installation windows and then only one was there and it said Installing additional components when it was supposed to say "Preparing to install Mac OS X Mountain Lion." Does anyone know why it did/said this?

You should have a notification area icon in the top menu bar next to spotlight if MT has installed

Ok I do. I noticed that iMovie, iPhoto, and Garageband are missing. How would I get them back on my macbook pro?

After I installed ML, I went to the Purchases tab in the App Store. There was a warning that I needed to associate iMovie, iPhoto and Garageband with my account. Log into the App Store and check your Purchases. See if they are listed there...

Already tried that. They're not listed. I just got off the phone with an Apple Support guy and he said to look for my Snow Leopard cd and re install the apps but I can't find it.

iLife is on the second disk, not the first. This might be why you can't find iLife which is listed as "optional installs."

I don't need iLife. Where are you talking about anyway?

iLife is Apple's collective term for Garageband, iMovie, iTunes, iPhoto etc

They will be on the retore disks that came with the Mac when you purchased it

Ohh. Thanks. So how would I get it onto Mountain Lion?
