Hello everyone,

I've been using my Mac for a while, trying to learn new stuff every day, but this one seems one and I'd like some help to sort it out.
First info, I live in China, hence, internet control, needs of VPN to be online free, and maybe some spying wouldn't be too crazy to imagine.
It started to trigger my attention, when Chrome seemed to stop working at all.
But hey, **** happens, then, for some reasons I needed to use to console, and I noticed that my computer name wasn't the same anymore.

attachment.php

look at the "stor-001a" ... what's that ???

Then I wanted to su something, and my password was not correct ... on this one, I am less certain that I didn't do something wrong, I never really got it right, but from what I remember, it's the same I use to loggon with the usual account ...

Thanks to those who could have a look at this !! Thanks a lot.

cheers

Thibault.

Dude, that's weird! couldn't tell you the answer, but i'd possibly be thinking of fragging it and doing a clean install. Especially if things are being a little funny anyway (chrome for instance).

LittleSnitch is fairly good at stopping rogues processes from using the internet.

Yes it is. I don't want to reinstall the whole system for an unbloking problem, but it's very weird anyway. I do use little snitch, but there are only so many process one can identify, I might have given access to it by mistake ...
