PDF & Safari problem solved

A few days ago I posted a question with the frustration I was having with Apple not being able to tell me how to open a PDF in Safari in an internet site. Razormac and one other kind reader sent suggestions which worked!
Today the Senior Advisor from Apple that I had been working with connected with me again over skype and we removed several Quick Time plugins from the Library. and now PDFs open in Safari!!!

Thanks for your help! Thought you'd like an update.
