Hi,
Trying to play with the background colour on Finder:)
No problem going to the "Show View Option" but when I look at the aerial buttons for changing background they are greyed out. Guessing I have to unlock something but defeated so far... Any ideas what I need to click!
Thanks!

A bit of googling revealed a discussion in Apple Support Communities:

For anyone who has the same problem and is seeking a solution, the answer lies in the "Arrange By" selection. You must have "none" selected or else the colour options are not available. If you set a colour and then change the "Arrange By" the background will revert to white. Odd.
