Lion doesn't include minimised windows in Mission Control.

Can anyone suggest a setting/tweak/hack/workflow that will display all windows in Mission Control.

Seems, to me, like an odd and rather annoying omission.

As far as I can tell - you can't anymore. They changed a bunch of stuff. It kind of seems like they don't want you to minimize anymore - i.e. mission control will handle grouping of windows.

One other suggestion was that you turn off minimize window into app icon - thus putting minimized icons directly on the dock. Of course I had this checked so my dock didn't become unwieldy.

Minimized programs seem to show up with application expose - but not in mission control. Unfortunately - I haven't found a smooth way to go from MC to App Expose. If I have multiple windows open - that flow works fine but for single windows there is nothing to click to get to app expose.

Some things I found - as there isn't a lot of documentation (or obvious documentation with a google search) Probably some gestures are configurable so YMMV
-Space bar zooms in MC
-2 finger swipe up spreads out a cluster
-Add desktops by going to the right hand top of MC and hitting the + that shows up ghosted
-Four finger swipe is currently setup on my machine to switch desktops
-Desktops have gone back to the old NeXT/Afterstep etc of only left right configuration.
-I have not figured out how to wrap around
-you can also get to application expose via 4 finger swipe down on the dock icon of the program of your choice - thus bringing up expose with minimized windows.

Thanks for the comprehensive reply Ivan.
You've, unforetunately, re-enforced what I suspected. Time to change my Snow Leopard habits I guess.

Still seems like an odd decision though seems to miss the mark of what it's billed to be:
"Mission Control brings together full-screen apps, Dashboard, Exposé and Spaces in one new feature that gives you a bird’s-eye view of everything on your system"

Yeah - but notice your quote didn't mention minimized windows. :(
People on Apple support and other forums suggested that if enough people ask for it Apple may add minimized windows to Mission Control - squeaky wheel gets the grease.

I tried a few more things using better touch tool. No joy - everything that is Expose just brought you to mission control, except for App Expose - that worked as expected.

If anyone has any more ideas I'd love to hear it.
