I currently attend Penn State University and check my mail very frequently, however I was hoping that there would be a way to check my mail through the mail application instead of going through safari, webaccess, webmaster, then penn state email. I have tried before to set up my PSU email and have failed, my gmail account works however I want my Penn State email to work. Someone please help me!

Email accounts at a university are generally localized to their in house server. The school should have instructions as to how to setup an account on a PC or on a Mac so that it downloads to the computer. As a work around, you can try to setup the school account to forward your mail to your GMail account. That would work but it's best to download it direct from the school's server.
