Hey,
I just bought my first MacBook Pro today, and was really excited about using it. After a couple of hours, the cursor suddenly went crazy and started clicking everywhere and opening new files and other things without me doing anything. I couldn't control it at all. I managed to get it to restart twice, and when that didn't stop it from going crazy (sorry I keep saying that, but i don't know what else to call it!) i shut it down, and left it for the rest of the day. Now it's working fine, but i feel like it's working as smoothly as it was, and I'm afraid that it's suddenly going to start acting up again. What should I do? Can I go back to the Mac store and get a new one?

Yea try and contact apple or take it to a retailer! Don't mess with it if you don't know what you are doing!

OK, but do you think they'll give me a new one, even though it's working fine right now? 'Cause I definitely shouldn't be having ANY problems at all the first day of use!?

Not implying you did anything to necessarily cause problem but what exactly were you doing at the time? That might help us identify the cause of the problem.

I was definitely not doing anything out of the ordinary. I think I was on facebook or something when it happened...

so i took it back to the store, talked to a salesperson and then to the manager. They checked it, and said that it was just a small problem and that it had fixed itself when I updated it... So hopefully it won't happen again. Thanks for your help! :)
