Firevault, any issues, should I use?

Hey, I have 10.4, was just wondering if its problem free to use the firevault or not, have read conflicting reviews. What's the feeling of this forum??? Should I use f/v or is it potentially a bad idea?

You mean Filevault?

I think if you really really need that level of security, use it. But for most users it is overkill and a bit too buggy...
