Do I need another security system?

Since Snow leopard has it's own security program will I need to install anything else to keep it secure? I just got this macbook as a Christmas present and I was wondering if I need to install any Norton or other Virus protection program.

Keep Norton's well clear of your lovely new Mac. There are no viruses and if you use common sense no other problems either. Have a read of this link, whilst a little dated, still holds true:-

Leave your Mac at it's factory defaults, you'll be fine. I have since my Mac Plus started connecting to dial-up BBS's, and I've never had a problem. Neither have any of my IT consulting clients using Macs.
