.bin and .cue file... burning it

So I downloaded a set of 7 .rars, an audio language learning course originally on a CD...

The .rars extract fine, into a folder with a .bin and a .cue file. This is where my problems start. I know that this is the CD data and has to be burned as a disk image or something...

But I've looked for help on the net, and I understand generally what I have to do... but nothing seems to work!! It's very frustrating. I've done this sort of thing before, I feel like I know what I ought to be doing, but it's not working. I burn it to a CD, or make a virtual drive... am I missing a step or two here? No successes. The .bin file just wants to archive or extract itself. VLC says it's not a (s)VCD, etc. etc.

It's driving me nuts because it took a few days to download the whole thing, and I don't want to give up!

Is it possible the files are corrupted somehow?...

Can someone give me idiot-proof (I don't noodle around with disk utility that often) advice or steps here? Is there a program I can use that easier to use?

(BTW... not sure if this is the best place to post this!)

I'm fairly certain most burning software can handle bin/cue files. Toast or Popcorn should handle it just fine on a Mac.

Thanks, I read both those helpful threads and ended up having to download Toast (my old version was only good on System 9, years ago!)... Anyways, it worked, but what a headache. Thanks again.
