At work, I use Mac OS 10.4.11. Sometimes, for no apparent reason, the computer randomly makes my windows small and then I have to click on one to pull it to the front again. It is very hard to explain, so here is a picture: http://www.geocities.com/mjbohartotoole/Mac-screen.jpg

I had four things open and I was working on Web-pics.xls, when the computer decided to make all four windows appear small on the screen.

Has this happened to anyone else?

That is not a problem but a feature of OS X. It is called Expose. My guess is that it is setup to operate once you move your mouse to a corner and you keep going to the corner. You can change the options for Expose in System Preferences.

You can read more about it here.
